As a Project Architect and Associate with Lucien Lagrange Architects in Chicago, Julie Liska led the team of architects and consultants in the restoration of this 23 story Chicago Landmark located on Michigan Avenue. The hotel’s historic exterior, lobby, ballroom and other historic spaces were restored to original conditions while the guestrooms, restaurant, concierge level and back-of-house service areas where reconstructed to meet the needs of modern travelers and hotel operations. The completed restoration is once again a destination for travelers and will continue to impress Chicago’s tourists with its historic craftsmanship and intricate detail.
