Years of many renovations to this historic Chicago bungalow removed all the character from the vintage property including the wood trim, crown molding and the original bath tile and fixtures. Liska Architects’ work included gutting the bathroom to repair structural damage to the floor and restoring it to a design appropriate for the style of the house. Salvaged fixtures were found to replace those lost and traditional tile details recreate the original bathroom character appropriate to the bungalow home.
