Liska Architects worked with the owners of this single-family residence located in the Chicago Landmark District and National Register of Historic Places District of The Villa Neighborhood in Chicago to restore the exterior of their home. Once clad in stucco, the exterior was covered with a faux stone veneer and a cedar deck replaced the original porch structure. The project returned the exterior to it’s original configuration and cladding as well as opened original window locations at the first floor and basement levels that have been enclosed over time.
